What is the focus of this conference?
President Ikeda states:
“We are confronted by endless ‘pains and trials’ in life and in our efforts for kosen-rufu. Reality is full of struggles and challenges. But by wholeheartedly chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, without fear or self-pity, and continuing to strive in our practice for ourselves and others, our inherent Buddhahood will reveal itself moment after moment. …
Difficulties standing in our way are challenges that enable us to do our human revolution. Through dauntlessly overcoming one obstacle after another, we can change not only our own karma, but also the karma of our families, communities and society as a whole.
Our courageous efforts will become a source of hope for those who follow in our footsteps in the future.”
