Culture Department Conference

What is the focus of this conference?

The theme of the conference will be, "Toward 2030: Let's Advance with Sensei Brimming with Faith, Hope and Intellect."

Culture Department Mission:

Culture Department conference attendees can look forward to:

• Expanding, deepening and learning how to better apply and understand Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism and President Ikeda's guidance into their daily lives personally, professionally and/or organizationally.
• Learning how to unite with the line organization to support SGI-USA goals toward 2013.
• Becoming familiar with the mission and guiding principles of Culture Department members.
• Engaging in meaningful and joyful dialogue.
• Refreshing and revitalizing their practice to better fulfill their unique mission.

Conference Activities:

• Gosho lecture and encouragement by SGI-USA Women’s Leader, Linda Johnson
• Dialogue Breakout Sessions
• Viewing of the film “Traveler for Peace” as well as the Oneness of Mentor and Disciple exhibits
• Faith experiences from members working in each field

• This conference is open to all members, especially those working in the fields of Academia (College and University), Education (K-12), Healing Arts and Law.
