Arts Department Conference

Jun 13, 2014 - Jun 16, 2014

Jun 13 - Jun 16

What is the focus of this conference?

The SGI-USA Arts Conference is a joyful gathering of artists who share the bond of faith in Nichiren Daishonin's Buddhism. Held only once a year, it is a weekend of sharing -- packed with in-depth study, lectures from SGI-USA national leaders, stimulating discussion, and profound experiences, often accompanied by riveting performances or expression of art forms. A high percentage of the artists who have attended this conference in the past have found it transformative. The emphasis of our 2014 edition will be on opening a new era -- both in our global movement and in our individual creative lives -- together with our mentor.

Who should apply to this conference?

  • The Arts Conference is open to all SGI members who are involved in the arts -- including those who are in training toward a career in the arts and those who are now retired from such a vocation, and those who appreciate arts.
